Bulutegra Glossary Partial return

What is Partial return?

A return covering only some lines of an order: three items shipped, one sent back. It has to be handled separately in three places. In stock, only the returned unit comes back, and only once the warehouse has accepted it. In invoicing, the credit note covers the affected line alone. In settlement, the commission for that line should be credited back, and is not always. Because the order was written line by line when it was transferred, each of the three is resolved without unpicking the whole order. See order cancellation and partial return flow.
