SAP Amazon Integration

For businesses running SAP and selling on Amazon in Turkey and abroad: orders are written into SAP, and stock and prices go from SAP out marketplace by marketplace. Onboarding reads only at first.

What is the SAP Amazon integration?

The SAP Amazon integration carries stock and prices from SAP out to Amazon marketplaces, and Amazon orders back into SAP.

Two distinctions shape this pair. The first is who ships: FBA orders sent from Amazon's own warehouse are written into SAP for the accounting and stock record while Amazon handles the shipment, whereas FBM orders you send from your own warehouse land in the warehouse and the shipped confirmation goes back to Amazon. The second is the marketplace: each one is managed with its own currency, price and stock rules, and the list price in SAP reaches the marketplace through those rules.

Onboarding begins in shadow mode. The system reads only for a while, and you see that FBA and FBM orders and the per-marketplace stock and prices agree with the records in SAP. Write access opens for orders first, then marketplace by marketplace.

What flows in which direction

1

FBM orders from Amazon into SAP

An order you ship from your own warehouse is written into SAP with its customer, line items and payment details and lands in the warehouse; the shipped confirmation goes back to Amazon.

2

FBA orders from Amazon into SAP

Orders shipped from Amazon's own warehouse are written into SAP for the accounting and stock record. Stock held at Amazon is tracked separately from the stock in your own warehouse.

3

Stock and prices from SAP out to the marketplaces

Stock in SAP is reflected into FBM listings. The price matrix keeps a separate list, selling and floor price for each Amazon marketplace, and a campaign price never drops below the floor.

4

Export paperwork and returns

For orders abroad, micro-export paperwork along with currency and customs details is prepared at the moment of the order. Returns are accepted at the warehouse by barcode and reflected into SAP.

How the SAP Amazon integration is set up

1

Connect

You prepare the access details needed on the SAP side with your partner, then grant Bulutegra access from the app authorisation section in Seller Central and select the marketplaces you sell on.

2

Match

Products and variants in SAP match Amazon listings through seller SKU and barcode, and the ASIN is kept on the product card. Listings of the same product across marketplaces are gathered under a single SKU.

3

Watch

In shadow mode the system only reads, writing nothing to SAP or to Amazon. You see that FBA and FBM orders and the per-marketplace stock and prices line up with the records in SAP.

4

Hand over

You open write access first for orders into SAP, then for stock and prices marketplace by marketplace. An ownership flag decides which products are managed by Bulutegra on which marketplace.

Frequently asked questions about the SAP Amazon integration

Are FBA orders written into SAP as well?

Yes, but for a different purpose. FBA orders are written for the accounting and stock record while Amazon handles the shipment. FBM orders land in your warehouse and the shipped confirmation goes back to Amazon.

Does stock held at Amazon mix with my own warehouse stock?

No. Stock held at Amazon is tracked separately, and the pool in SAP is what is reflected into FBM listings.

Can Amazon Turkey and the marketplaces abroad be run from one SAP?

Yes. You authorise your Amazon account once and select the marketplaces you sell on. Each marketplace is managed with its own price, currency and stock rules, and they all appear in the same panel.

How is the ASIN match built?

Listings match the product in SAP through seller SKU and barcode, and the ASIN is stored on the product card. Listings that do not match are reported separately.

How is customs paperwork prepared for sales abroad?

Micro-export paperwork along with currency and customs details is prepared in the panel at the moment of the order. For current limits and rules we suggest checking customs legislation and Amazon's marketplace agreement.

How are size differences handled?

Size is converted to the target marketplace's measure by reading the product's own size chart. Where there is no size chart no conversion is made and a warning is raised.
