eBay Integration: Sell on Multiple eBay Sites From One Panel

eBay integration for multichannel sellers: one-click authorization, country sites and currencies, listing formats, order flow, tracking and returns in one panel.

eBay integration connects your eBay listings, inventory, prices and orders to the same panel that runs your other sales channels. eBay is harder to manage by hand than most marketplaces: it has separate country sites, two listing formats, category-specific item attributes and a steady stream of buyer messages. The integration takes most of that load. Orders drop into your ERP, stock updates from one pool, tracking numbers are written back to eBay, and buyer questions land in a single inbox next to email and WhatsApp.

What makes eBay different

eBay does not work on a single-catalog model the way Amazon or Trendyol do. Four differences shape how you plan the integration.

Country sites. eBay runs separate sites for the US, the UK, Germany, Australia and others, each with its own language, currency and rules. A listing on one site does not appear on another; buyers on other sites find it only if it offers international shipping.

Two listing formats. Fixed-price listings behave like a shop: you enter a quantity and it falls as units sell. Auction listings carry one unit for a fixed period. For a multichannel seller, fixed-price is the format that matters.

Item specifics. Depending on the category, eBay requires or recommends attribute fields such as brand, material, size, colour and model. Missing attributes will not remove a listing, but they push it down in search.

Business policies. Payment, shipping and return terms are defined once as policies and attached to listings. Change a policy and every linked listing follows.

Which eBay site should you start with?

Most sellers begin with the site closest to their main buyer base: eBay.com for the US, eBay.co.uk for the UK, eBay.de for Germany. Because each site needs its own listing for the same product, it is healthier to start on one site, get the routine right, then expand.

Currency differs per site. In the price matrix each eBay site is a separate column, so you set a list price and a floor price in dollars for the US site and in euros for the German site. When exchange rates move, the panel calculates the home-currency equivalent for you. See multi-currency and exchange rate management for the details.

Language follows the site too. German buyers expect German titles and descriptions; an English listing can be published but converts less. Multilingual content fields let you hold the English and German versions of one product in a single record.

What the integration covers on eBay

One-click authorization and security

eBay grants access to account data through its own consent page. When you add eBay as a channel in Bulutegra, you click to connect, eBay's sign-in page opens, you approve the permissions and you are returned to the panel. There is no API key to copy, no developer account to open, no technical form to fill.

The permission is valid on eBay's side for a period eBay sets; when it expires, the panel prompts you to renew, which is eBay's own security rule, not a fault. You can revoke it from your eBay account at any time. Inside the panel, two-factor authentication and user roles limit what each person can do with the eBay account: the content team edits listings, the warehouse sees only shipments, accounting looks at settlements.

Pre-launch checklist for eBay

Work through this list before you connect; each item prevents a problem that is awkward to fix later.

  1. Decide which country site to start on and which currency to price in.
  2. Define payment, shipping and return policies on eBay; set the return window to match what your carriers can actually do.
  3. Check whether your products carry EAN or UPC barcodes; many categories require them for listing.
  4. Shorten titles to eBay's current character limit, with brand, product type and the key attribute first.
  5. Prepare images on a plain background; the first image should show the whole product.
  6. Confirm your international carrier agreement and realistic transit times.
  7. Make sure every product and variation in your catalog has its own SKU; matching depends on it.
  8. Run at least a week in shadow mode; mismatches and stock differences surface there.

The general version of this list is in checklist for launching on a new marketplace.

Orders, shipping and returns

An eBay order is final once payment is confirmed. The panel reads it and writes it to the ERP; invoicing and shipping continue in your own process. For cross-border sales, export paperwork, the declared value in the sale currency and customs data are prepared at order time. When the label is produced, the tracking number goes back to eBay, which shows it to the buyer and measures your delivery performance against it.

For returns, the buyer opens a request in eBay's own system. The panel reads it into the returns portal; the warehouse accepts the item by scanning the barcode and a return code is generated automatically. Whether eBay refunds its fee on that return is tracked separately in the settlement screen. Who pays return shipping depends on your policy, so state it clearly from the start.

Late dispatch, cancellations and unanswered messages all lower your seller rating, and a lower rating pushes listings down in search. The least visible benefit of integration is the most valuable one: tracking numbers posted on time and no message left waiting.

How it works with Bulutegra

In Bulutegra, each eBay country site appears as its own tab on the orders screen. Stock is fed from one pool, and the low-stock alert and days-of-cover report count eBay sales. The price matrix holds each eBay site in its own currency. Channel monitoring raises an alert and sends a phone notification if the eBay connection goes quiet. The profitability page shows eBay's contribution using its own fee model. The ownership flag marks, product by product, which listings Bulutegra manages and which you keep manual. Orders are written automatically to Nebim V3, Logo, Mikro or SAP.

Frequently asked questions

Does an eBay integration handle auction listings?

The integration is built around fixed-price listings, where quantity and price are updated continuously. Auction listings hold a single unit at a buyer-set price; their orders still flow into the panel, but stock sync has no real meaning for them.

Can I list the same item on eBay.com, eBay.co.uk and eBay.de at once?

Yes. Each country site has its own language, currency and listing rules, so each needs its own listing. From a central catalog you keep per-site content and price columns while feeding stock from a single pool.

How does the eBay connection stay secure?

Access is granted on eBay's own consent screen, so your password never enters a third-party system. The permission expires after a period set by eBay and the panel asks you to renew it; you can also revoke it from your eBay account at any time.
