How do price rules work?
What the multipliers, price brake, out-of-scope and clearance brands on the Rules screen do, and what happens if no rule is set.
What is this screen for?
The Kurallar (Rules) tab under the Kurallar (Rules) menu decides how the price sent to your channels is calculated. The menu is visible only to the account owner, and only that user can save changes.
A saved change applies from the next sync run. Every save is recorded in the Değişiklik günlüğü (Change log) table at the bottom of the page: zaman (time), kim (who), ne (what) and eski → yeni değer (old → new value).
To work out step by step why a price did not reach a channel, see the Stock and price sync article. This article explains the rules themselves.
Marketplace price rules
There is one row for each connected channel. The columns are Pazar yeri (Marketplace), Fiyat kuralı (Price rule), Çarpan (Multiplier), Fren (Brake), alt (lower) and üst (upper).
- If Fiyat kuralı (Price rule) is ticked, prices are written to that channel. If not, only stock is sent.
- Çarpan (Multiplier): the sale price on the channel is the product's retail price in your master record (PSF) multiplied by this value. PSF is sent as the list price, and the list price can never be lower than the sale price. The multiplier must be between 0.10 and 3.00. If the box is empty, no price is written to that channel.
- If Fren (Brake) is ticked, the excessive gap brake works on that channel. If not, the brake is off for that channel and every calculated price is sent.
- alt / üst (lower / upper): a brake range for that channel only. Fill in both; if one is empty, the general brake range is used. The note under the table shows the current general range.
To save:
- In the channel's row, tick the boxes, type the multiplier and, if needed, the lower and upper values. You can use a comma or a dot for decimals.
- Press Kaydet (Save) under the box. This single button saves the whole table.
- "kaydedildi ✓" (saved) appears next to the button. The hint beside it shows how many marketplaces have a price rule switched on.
General price brake (backup)
This is the Genel fiyat freni (yedek) (General price brake, backup) box. The brake compares the calculated target price with the current price on the channel. If the target / current ratio is not between the alt sınır (lower limit) and the üst sınır (upper limit), the price is not sent. For example, 0.8 means 80% of the current price. If the channel price is 0, the item is also held by the brake.
- The alt sınır must be 0.30–0.99 and the üst sınır 1.00–3.00.
- The brake stops only the price; stock keeps flowing and the product stays on sale.
- Items held by the brake are listed on the Aşırı fark (Excessive price gap) tab.
If you filled in lower/upper values in a channel's row, that channel uses its own range; the general range applies only to channels you left empty.
Out-of-scope brands
Type one brand per line in the Kapsam dışı markalar (Out-of-scope brands) box. Products whose brand name contains any of these terms get no price, only stock. Use it for brands or product groups whose prices you manage elsewhere.
Clearance brands
The Eritme markaları (Clearance brands) box is for brands you want to sell off. You set the price for these brands by hand; Bulutegra sends only stock.
- Type one brand per line in the Markalar (Brands) box.
- If you write "Brand: kadın" in the Cinsiyete bağlı (Gender-specific) box, clearance applies only to products of that gender.
n11 category assignments
This sets the n11 category of a parent product by hand instead of the automatic guess. Write the parent code and the n11 category number one per line, for example "ABC-1001: 1234567". The hint shows how many parent codes have been assigned by hand.
What happens if no rule is set?
- On a new account the multiplier boxes are empty. Until you enter a multiplier and tick Fiyat kuralı (Price rule), no price is written to any channel; only stock is sent.
- The general brake range comes preset at setup. The values you see in the boxes are the ones in effect.
- A product whose brand is not yet known gets no price, only stock.
- Unmatched listings receive neither price nor stock. See Product matching: SKU and barcode.
Before joining a campaign: campaign participation decision
To assess a marketplace's campaign offer in bulk, open the Kampanya katılım kararı (toplu) (Campaign participation decision, bulk) section on the Raporlar → Kârlılık (Reports → Profitability) screen.
- Choose the Kanal (Channel).
- Enter İndirim % (şimdiki fiyattan) (Discount % from the current price), or paste "parent;price" lines for product-level campaign prices.
- Optionally list specific parent codes; if you leave it empty, every product on sale is calculated.
- Press Hesapla (Calculate).
Each product is marked katılabilir (can join), eşik altı (below threshold) or zarar — katılmayın (loss — don't join). The calculation deducts VAT, commission, shipping, withholding tax and return risk. Nothing is written to the channel; you download the list with Katılabilirleri indir (CSV) (Download joinable), Zarar edenleri indir (CSV) (Download loss-makers) or Tümünü indir (Download all). Hesapla works only for the Admin role. For cost and threshold settings, see Profitability and settlements.
If something goes wrong
- "çarpan 0,10–3,00 arasında olmalı" (multiplier must be between 0.10 and 3.00): enter a value in this range or empty the box.
- "fren alt 0,30–0,99, üst 1,00–3,00 olmalı" (brake lower 0.30–0.99, upper 1.00–3.00): the lower limit must be below 1 and the upper limit 1 or above.
- "Pazar yeri kuralları kaydedilemedi: …" (Marketplace rules could not be saved): one of the channel rows is invalid, and in that case the multipliers are not saved either. Fix the channel named in the message and save again.
- The price did not change: follow the checklist in Stock and price sync.
