The Electronic Commerce Customs Declaration: the declaration a carrier files on your behalf for micro-export shipments, in place of a full declaration prepared by a broker. It is the document proving the goods left the country, which is what makes it necessary when VAT is reclaimed, and it is also what ties an individual parcel to an export record in your accounts. Keeping each declaration matched to the order it belongs to is the part that pays off later, when a refund is claimed and the paperwork has to line up.
