Shopify and WooCommerce Marketplace Integration Guide

Connect your Shopify or WooCommerce store to Trendyol, Amazon, Etsy and the other marketplaces we connect to. Catalog source, stock pool, order flow and currency rules explained.

If you run a Shopify or WooCommerce store, you do not need a separate catalog to sell the same products on Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon, Etsy and eBay. Your store is connected to the integration panel as the product source; items are matched to marketplace listings by SKU and barcode, stock flows from one pool to every channel, and orders are collected on one screen. You keep running the store the way you always have, and the marketplaces follow it.

Who uses Shopify and WooCommerce this way

Sellers who pair Shopify or WooCommerce with Turkish and global marketplaces usually fall into two groups. The first has built its own brand and store and now wants a share of marketplace traffic. The second already sells cross-border, often starting on Etsy or Amazon, and now wants to open Turkish marketplaces such as Trendyol and Hepsiburada, or expand to Ozon, Walmart, Temu and Jumia.

Both groups share one problem: keeping stock and prices consistent between the store and the marketplaces. A product with three units left on Shopify showing ten on Trendyol means a cancellation and a rating penalty. Integration closes that gap; every sale deducts from the pool and every channel is updated.

In Bulutegra, Shopify and WooCommerce are connected as e-commerce platforms and join the same flow as the master catalog sources ikas, Ticimax, T-Soft, İdeasoft and XML feeds. For the basics, read what marketplace integration is.

Which system should be the product source

The answer depends on the business. Three arrangements are common:

Whichever you choose, the rule is the same: a product is edited in one place and written to the others. The moment you edit in two places, consistency is gone.

Before deciding, ask your team: "Which screen do we open first when we create a new product?" That screen is your master catalog source.

Matching by SKU and barcode

Every Shopify variant has an SKU and a barcode field; WooCommerce has the same fields at variation level. Marketplace matching runs on these two fields. During the matching step, the panel compares every variant in your store with existing marketplace listings; matches are linked and the rest wait for your decision in a separate list.

A common issue is SKUs typed as free text in Shopify. "Black-M" and "BLACK M" are two different codes. Make sure SKUs follow one convention before setup. The method is described in matching products by SKU and barcode.

Turkish marketplaces require category-specific mandatory attributes. A Shopify "product type" does not map one-to-one to Trendyol's category tree. That mapping is done once per category, after which every product in the category follows the same rule. Missing fields show up in the quality tab and are fixed with one click.

Order flow and invoicing

Marketplace orders are collected in the panel under channel tabs. You can search Trendyol, Amazon and Etsy orders on one screen by date, customer or SKU and export to CSV. Stock is deducted from the pool the moment the order lands.

For businesses with an ERP, the order is written automatically with customer, line items, carrier and payment details. Invoicing and shipping continue in the business's own process. Without an ERP, orders are managed in the panel: the Warehouse role sees what needs picking, the Accounting role handles settlements and returns.

Cross-border orders add one step. When an Etsy, eBay or Amazon global order arrives, the micro-export paperwork, currency and customs data are prepared at order time. For US orders, the size is converted one step up according to the product's own size chart. The flow is described in micro-export and ETGB order flow.

Prices and currencies

Sellers whose Shopify store works in USD or EUR most often ask how TL prices reach Turkish marketplaces. The panel holds a channel × list/sale/floor price matrix. Each channel gets its own rule: TL for Trendyol, USD for Etsy, RUB for Ozon. When the source price changes, the matrix is recalculated.

Exchange rate and rounding rules are covered in multi-currency and exchange rate management. Commission rates vary by channel and category; check each marketplace's current agreement. The profitability page shows the contribution per channel after VAT, return risk and the commission model, so you can see which price makes sense where.

Setup steps

  1. Connect (half a day): the Shopify or WooCommerce API connection is made and marketplace accounts are added. Etsy and eBay use one-click authorisation.
  2. Match (1–3 days): variants are matched to marketplace listings by SKU and barcode; category and attribute mapping is completed.
  3. Watch (1–2 weeks): shadow mode. The system reads every channel, reports differences and writes nothing.
  4. Hand over: write access is switched on channel by channel. The ownership flag lets you leave a channel with an external system.

The pre-setup checklist is short: are SKUs consistent, are barcodes filled, are product types tidy enough for category mapping, is a critical stock threshold set, and is a per-channel price rule written down? Businesses that complete these five items get an almost empty shadow mode report.

How it works with Bulutegra

Bulutegra connects your Shopify or WooCommerce store to more than 24 marketplaces from one Integration Panel. In Türkiye that means Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon, N11, Çiçeksepeti, Pazarama, PttAVM, Modanisa, Flo and İdefix; globally Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Ozon, Temu, SHEIN and Jumia draw from the same stock pool. Orders gather in channel tabs, stock and prices update after every sale, and channels are checked continuously. Cross-border orders get micro-export paperwork at order time, and Content Studio produces multilingual descriptions. If you have an ERP, orders are written to Nebim V3, Logo, Mikro or SAP automatically. The software was born in the founding company's own multichannel retail operation and proven there before it became a product.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect my Shopify store to Trendyol?

Yes. Your Shopify store is linked to the integration panel, products are matched to Trendyol listings by SKU and barcode, stock flows from one pool and Trendyol orders are collected in the panel. Shopify stays the product source; Trendyol's mandatory category and attribute fields are completed during the matching step.

Do I need a plugin for WooCommerce marketplace integration?

Bulutegra is cloud based and connects to your WooCommerce site through its API. Products, stock and prices are read and orders are collected in the panel. Nothing extra runs on your server, and adding channels changes nothing on the WooCommerce side.

My Shopify prices are in USD. How do TL prices reach Trendyol?

A per-channel price matrix defines separate list, sale and floor prices for each channel. If the source price is in a foreign currency, the exchange rate and channel rule are set in the panel; Trendyol receives TL, Etsy receives USD. See the multi-currency article for the rate logic.
